Overview[]
Cedric is preparing to show off his incredibly strong magical abilities at the Enchanted Feast, a grand dinner for all the kings and queens in the Tri-Kingdom Area. But the evil fairy, Miss Nettle, disguises herself as a powerful sorceress named Sascha and takes over the feast to get Sofia's amulet. At the feast, Sofia discovers there's something familiar about "Sascha" and has a bad feeling. Snow White appears and tells Sofia that people aren't always as they seem and she needs to trust her feelings. Sofia and Clover ally with Cedric and Wormwood to protect her mystical amulet, stop Miss Nettle, and save her family and the feast.
Plot[]
Cedric was preparing to show off his magical talents at the Enchanted Feast, a grand event for all the Kings and Queens in the Tri-Kingdom Area. Just then, Sofia entered, and Cedric noticed she was finally saying his name correctly. Cedric showed Sofia the spell he'll be performing for the Feast, "Morpho Mirrors," which made Sofia squeal, "Fun!"
Unbeknownst to Sofia, she was being watched by the vicious fairy, Miss Nettle, and her pet enchanted rose, Rosey, who are outside on a cloud. Miss Nettle recognized Sofia's amulet the last time she saw it, had since identified it as the Amulet of Avalor, and decided that she wants it for herself to take over the kingdom. However, Rosey reminds her that Princess Sofia knew what she looks like and that she was up to no good and thus wouldn't just hand over the amulet. So, Miss Nettle disguised herself as Sasha the Sorceress for Plan A: gaining Sofia's trust and then tricking her into giving her the amulet.
Through a song, Sascha managed to charm everyone except Sofia, who sensed something unusual about her. Sascha offered Sofia an Egyptian-style ruby necklace and offered to help her take off her old one so she could put on the new one. But Sofia told her she never took off her Amulet, stating, "My dad gave it to me, and I promised to never take it off."
However, Princess Amber asked for the ruby necklace, and Sofia gave it to her. Sofia then told Sascha she'll see her at the feast as she leaves to go get changed. Afterward, Rosie exclaimed, "Ooh, you almost had it!" But Sascha retorted, "No, I didn't. There's no tricking that princess. She's too smart!"
So they came up with Plan B and stuffed Rosie into a vase of flowers. During the feast, Rosie will sprout vines that will wrap up Sofia and trap everyone inside the ballroom. Then, Sascha will threaten to hex everyone unless Sofia hands over the Amulet. To ensure Cedric doesn't get in her way, she secretly goes to his lair and hexes his wand so he couldn't use his spells.
At the time of the feast, Sofia tried to tell everyone that something wasn't right about Sascha, but nobody listened to her.
During the feast, all of Cedric's spells went wrong, and he was dismissed by Roland and Amber. Sofia went after him to comfort him, foiling Plan B. This prompted Sascha and Rosey to implement Plan C: Trap everyone inside the ballroom and then take care of Sofia. Rosey sprouted vines and trapped everyone inside as intended.
Once outside, Sofia told Clover everything that had happened and shared her bad feelings about Sascha. Suddenly, overwhelmed by her current grief, Sofia's amulet summoned Snow White. Confused, Sofia asked why the amulet had called her, insisting nothing was wrong. However, Snow White sensed Sofia's disbelief and recounted her own experience with the Evil Queen.
She described how an old woman offered her an apple, which turned out to be poisoned, and how that old woman had been her wicked stepmother in disguise. Snow White then advised Sofia that appearances are deceiving, emphasizing the importance of being cautious around strangers, especially new acquaintances. She emphasized that Sofia should trust her instincts when she senses something amiss, regardless of others' opinions. Finally, Snow White advised Sofia that if she perceives a problem and others dismiss her concerns, she must take action before it's too late.
After Snow White disappeared, Sofia quickly rushed back inside to warn her parents about Sascha. Meanwhile, back in the ballroom, Roland saw that Sascha was missing, and Miranda wondered if this was part of the trick. Roland and Baileywick checked the doors to find her and discovered that they were all stuck.
"Sascha, I am not amused!" exclaimed Roland. Sofia confronted Sascha and asked her what was going on. The stranger, revealing herself to be the notorious Miss Nettle, affirmed her purpose in stealing Sofia's amulet. As Nettle raised her wand to try to hex Sofia, Clover yanked the carpet, sending her tumbling. Seizing the opportunity, Sofia and Clover ran away as fast as they could. Miss Nettle instructed Rosey to use her vines to seal up the whole castle, which she did.
Sofia, unaware of the danger, approached Cedric to reveal the whole story. Cedric tried to stop Miss Nettle, but failed because his wand was hexed. Miss Nettle, using her bouncing bluebells spell, overpowered Cedric, tied up his hands with vines, and made her escape. Sofia, Clover, and Wormwood rushed to Cedric's aid, and Clover used his teeth to free him from the vines.
Back in the ballroom, everyone was still confused about why Sascha trapped them, not realizing she was after Sofia's amulet. Worried about Sofia's safety, Roland ordered the guards to cut the vines with their swords. Clover and Wormwood, at Sofia's urging, agreed to work together for the night and retrieve an extra wand from Cedric's tower. With Cedric's help, Sofia then used the Morpho Mirror trick to reflect Miss Nettle's spell back at her, tying up her hands and thwarting her plans. Sofia grabbed Miss Nettle's wand and told her not to move. However, Miss Nettle escaped with Rosey, vowing revenge.
After Cedric freed everyone, Roland and Miranda were relieved Sofia was safe and thanked Cedric for saving them. Then Sofia told them that Sascha was really Miss Nettle in disguise, trying to steal her amulet. The feast continued with a show of the Morpho Mirrors.

Trivia[]
- Viewership: This episode was watched by 1.493 million viewers on its premiere.[3]
- A DVD based on the episode was released on August 5, 2014.
- This episode is based on a book titled: Sofia the First-The Enchanted Feast, which was published on February 4.
- Snow White is the sixth Disney Princess to assist Sofia.
- The first was Cinderella in Sofia the First: Once Upon a Princess.
- The second was Jasmine in "Two to Tangu".
- The third was Belle in "The Amulet and the Anthem".
- The fourth was Ariel in Sofia the First: The Floating Palace.
- The fifth was Aurora in "Holiday in Enchancia".
- Snow White's appearance is also one of two instances in the series that the princess summons appear twice in the same episode, especially at the very end (Snow White appears behind Sofia's reflection in one of Cedric's enchanted mirrors). The first was Ariel in The Floating Palace, when she porpoises at some distance from Sofia's family ship.
- This episode's plot is very similar to the plot of The Floating Palace.
- This marks the first time Sofia and Cedric work together to stop a common enemy.
- During her song, Sascha/Miss Nettle leans against the wall like Megara during I Won't Say I'm in Love from Hercules.
- Snow White is also the second Disney Princess to not sing on Sofia the First, with the first being Aurora.
- This is Miss Nettle's second appearance in the series, the first episode was "Make Way for Miss Nettle". She also makes a small reference to her first appearance.
- This marks the first and only time Cedric falls in love with someone.
- This is the second time that Princess Sofia and Prince James meet Miss Nettle, although James did not really meet her as he only saw her flying away through a window.
- This is the first time in which Miss Nettle tries to take the amulet. It is also the first time in which Cedric tries to protect the amulet rather than steal it for himself.
- This is the first time since the pilot Once Upon a Princess that Wormwood actually speaks rather than just squawking, mumbling, groaning, and laughing.
- Clover and Wormwood cross paths for the second time in the series.
- In this episode, Wormwood is shown to be a bit more tolerant of Sofia, lending her a hand and getting along with Clover at her request.
- Clover displays a certain affection towards Snow White that he hadn't shown to previous princesses.
- Rosey, Miss Nettle's pet rose, makes her debut appearance in this episode.
- Sofia didn't ask Snow White why she had appeared, indicating that Sofia is becoming more in tune with her amulet's powers. In "Holiday in Enchancia", this begins with Sofia correctly predicting a summoning when her amulet glows. Snow White is also the first princess not to elucidate her appearance by stating that the amulet summoned her, since Sofia showed that she knew.
- This is the second time that Sofia pronounced Cedric's name correctly. This is also the first time she realizes that she used to say it wrong. At the same time, this is also the first time that Cedric had noticed Sofia saying his name right. However, she had also said it right in the previous episode ("Two Princesses and a Baby"), although Cedric didn't seem to pay any attention.
- Princess Jun and Princess Leena make their first appearance in the second season.
- Sofia was the only character who didn't open up to Miss Nettle's Sasha the Sorceress persona.
- Morals:
- People are never what they seem.
- If you have a bad feeling about something or someone like your friend or your master, it's important to trust your instincts.
